It was a warm Sunday afternoon, 25 students from around Kuwait made there way to Yarmouk Culture centre. Yellow garments, high anticipations and an adrenaline fuel firing up.
Welcome to the fifth generation…
And thus the session started.
“Welcome to the Proteges, My name is Yarub Burhama”.

An intruiging start to the day. After finishing from the exercise they went outside for a quick photoshoot session.
After the quick photoshoot a short video was shown to the students of two auditioners in America’s got talent.
Mentor Aziz AL Adwani asks the students “Imagine yourself as Jonathan, whos the partner one of the judges disapproved what you do?. Would you let go of your partner in order to succeed? ”
Protege Fares replies “The things that I find important are Loyalty, commitment, and friendship. I find Loyalty and commitment very important , and I Value staying committed to my partner. ”
Mentor Aziz al Loghani adds” It is safe to say that We all have common values such as loyalty but different ways of thinking and evaluating them”
Mentor Rana Al Khaled continues “And Its not just about the success its about the drive that drives your ambition”
Afterwards Mentor shamlan gave the students a fun and challenging subject to debate on where they had to cress cross in finding a link between the beach a needle and a bald man.
Meandering to the next exercise The Students then assembled in a circle as Mentor Rana Al Khaled tossed a ball to a random student and the student and had to ask the rest of the protégés a question linked to a personal experience for ex/ have you ever gone bunjee jumping.
In an attempt to show the students how we share the same experiences and that we are actually closely related than we may think in terms of taste, experiences, encounters and shared moments
Students where given a number and asked to assemble themselves into groups based on the number they were given.
In their groups they were given random pictures and asked to weave a story out of them this sparked their imagination and triggered their thoughts one protégé replied in response to mentor Munaikh’s question on what they thought about the difficulty of the task
“It wasn’t as easy as I thought it required more imagination and effort to create and build the story.”
Thus Another skill learnt in a record breaking time.
