Today was the last day of sessions for the G7 candidates, so everyone was getting very emotional as the day went by. First, they had the weekly breakfast from our great sponsor Elevation Burger. This time they were given a longer than usual time so they could get a chance to talk to each other for the last time in a while before the end of the program. Afterwards, the sessions began at the Dasman Bilingual School. First, Mentor Shamlan Al-Bahar gave the yearly reflecting session to end the program. Then, Mentor Munaikh
Shared his personal reflections of every candidate and asked them to guess who the person was. Afterwards, he facilitated a very important discussion success and passion. The candidates remembered important words from him, such as “don’t compare your level 1, to someone else’s level 20,” and to always ask ourselves if the success we are thinking of is ours, or is it just someone else’s.
The candidates were given a relaxing break by the dram therapist, Mentor Fatmah Al-Qadfan who led some breathing and silent communication exercises. Afterwards, she led a game that made a few candidates get emotional and tear up. Every candidate had to choose another candidate and talk about why they were grateful for them.
Finally, the generation was concluded with the exciting yearly tradition of johnny rockets.
